Regardless of job title of role, all SBPS staff members are here for all of our students. We are all educators supporting one another to make a difference for every child.
All SBPS classified staff members are among our most valued employees and enjoy opportunities to grow professionally and be compensated accordingly. Recent improvements to our PD plan provide further increases to our compensation plan incentives whereby all classified staff can add to their salaries by participating in in-district and/or college level training.
Additionally, higher compensation opportunities exist for newly created supervisory positions. For example, selected custodians now oversee other buildings and highly specialized maintenance team members are recognized for their specific certifications and licensures.
Finally, SBPS now contracts with First Student, Inc. to provide transportation services and with Taher, Inc. for food services. Both are excellent, nationally known companies that provide outstanding opportunities for interested staff to consider both locally and throughout the country.
