Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources is a field of study with a wide range of opportunities. These opportunities include manufacturing, managing land and resources, animal health, design and engineering, retail management, buying and selling livestock, or managing/owning your own business. The Ag, Food, and Natural Resources field is one of the largest growing industries with the largest variety of occupations in the world and is the largest in the panhandle region.
Students enrolled in the Ag, Food, and Natural Resources Academy will have the opportunity to participate in a project based, student driven atmosphere. Students will research agricultural careers, participate in field trips, and take part in FFA activities. Students will have certification opportunities, participate in internships and job shadowing, and perform a variety of hands-on activities. Students will work closely with the community and take college level courses while enrolled in the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Academy.
